Dream 65
There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy. Friedrich Nietzsche
Weak mortals, chained to the earth and to your pleasures, creatures of clay as frail as the feathers of the birds flying around your heads, you are such an unfortunate race, whose life is but darkness, as unreal as a shadow, as the illusion of a dream.
You will never be immortal beings, ethereal, forever young or occupied with eternal thoughts. You will never know the celestial matters; you will never know the nature of the birds, the origin of the gods, the source of the rivers, the roots of Yggdrasil and the beginning of Chaos. And you will envy our knowledge forever.
